Today marks my first day as a student teacher. I was so anxious and nervous that I awoke at 4 AM and had a difficult time going back to sleep. I arrived early and waited for the "orientation." I found out my first concert with the students will be on February 24th! AHHH! So soon. Oh well. I am ready to be done with this whole school thing. I ought to be, I've been going for a long time!

Congrats! Student teaching will feel like it will never end... but don't give up because by the time it's over you won't know where all the time went!

Student teaching is one of your best learning experiences. All the hands on is so much better than the in class instruction. You will do great!!!
