As some of you might know, we have kind of adopted a local cat (I named her Liption) whom I believe was abandoned by her owner. When winter hit I bought a cat tent because I didn't want her (or the other stray cats) to freeze to death. About 2 weeks ago I discovered that Liption was pregnant.
Well, yesterday Shawn called me at school to tell me that the kittens had arrived! I was a complete wreck--the fact that I wasn't home to make sure all the kittens were ok had me stressed out. However, after some research and being able to check in on all of them I felt much better. Liption delivered 3 adorable kittens; one white, one grey, and one grey with black stripes. Here is a pic of the kittens (in the cat tent) while Mama cat stepped out to take a break.

11 Days!
Hi everyone. Sorry it has been so long since my last post. Life is pretty crazy right now.
I officially have 11 days till my last day of student teaching. If I can make it through this last week, life will be just dandy. I have decided that I enjoy teaching--I just don't know if teaching choir is my forte.
I would have to say the best part of this whole experience--the students. I really struck gold with LPHS. Overall, the students are extremely well-behaved. I have yet to hear one swear word or any crude language. These kids have manners and it really gives me hope for the future.
Well, other than that there isn't much else that is new. Actually, just kidding--I am singing the National Anthem at the Commencement ceremony. I am pretty excited about that. Anyway, I better get back to work but I will try to be better about posting more often.
