I LOVE D.I. !

Yesterday Shawn and I made one of many D.I. runs. The record selection has been very slim as of late. (I heard they have been throwing them in the trash because they are such a pain.) However, I struck gold! Here's what I found. (My grand total $1.25!) For those of you who know me well, you know I love my Elvis. Well, 3 out of the 5 that I bought I already have. I couldn't pass up Elvis records for a quarter a piece, even if I have duplicates.

Home Sweet Home
Empire State Building
Me in front of Carnegie Hall
Manhattan Temple
Ground Zero
Central Park
Me at Times Square
The Chrysler Building
Times Square
I saw many wonderful things while I was in New York. Central Park, Little Italy, Chinatown, Grand Central Station, The Empire State Building, 5th Avenue, The Metropolitan Opera, the Manhattan Temple. . . . the list goes on. All I can say is "I LOVE NEW YORK!" I love the big city and will definitely be going back soon. On Tuesday we arrived at the airport to be told our flight had been cancelled due to weather. ARGH!!! I had had 2 hours of sleep and this was not the news I wanted to hear when I thought that we would be going home that day. We ended up flying to Chicago and I spent the night at my sister-in-law's parents house. The next morning we flew out at 11AM and I finally arrived home around 4PM our time. It took me nearly the entire weekend to recover. I have discovered that I have shin splints and sore ankle joints from all the walking. For any interested, I highly recommend New York. I even told Shawn I would love to live there for a year if we could ever afford it.
