Happy Halloween everyone! I was driving to work today and a senior center owned by the city was putting up Christmas lights! And what do you think I heard on the radio? Christmas music!! I love Christmas, it is my favorite holiday but can we enjoy the festivity of Halloween? Anyway, here is a pic of me dressed up today.

What's the World coming to?
I had to watch this video when I read the article title because it seemed outrageous and impossible. What kind of person is this 3 year old going to be?

Anniversary Inn: Round II
Last Friday, Shawn and I celebrated our 5th anniversary 2 weeks early. As usual, my husband spoiled me rotten by taking me to the Anniversary Inn (again!) If you haven't stayed there before, I highly recommend it. We got a great deal through Costco: a $300 room for . . . . . $160. The room includes jetted tub, surround sound, cheesecake and sparkling cider. I have attached some pictures of our room: The Mysteries of Egypt.
Shawn also took me to a great Thai restaurant for dinner and Red Lobster for lunch the next day. Talk about spoiled! Thanks honey! I love you!

Good News!
Last Friday I auditioned for a chance to sing a solo from The Messiah. My voice hasn't been feeling too great lately and I felt that my performance for the audition wasn't my best.
Well, today they posted the soloists and I am singing the Soprano recitatives! This performance should be fun because, once again I'll have a chance to sing with an orchestra. If you are interested in coming to the performance, it is Dec. 11th at 7:30 PM at the Ragan Theatre on the UVU campus.

Funny or Die
I am not trying to persuade or influence anyone for either candidate. I just thought this video was hilarious and wanted to share it. A short clip of Ron Howard (also known as Opie from the Andy Griffith show and Richie Cunningham from Happy Days) reenacting his characters from his old TV shows.

Half way mark
This week marks mid-term. Of course, I have two tests this week but I am trying to maintain a positive attitude. If I have made it this far without dying or having a nervous breakdown, then I believe I am going to make it. The toughest stuff is yet to come, I am nervous and stressed out about it. Wish me luck!!
